This is what we mean when we say self-regulation is at risk if the slate takes over our governing body. Because instead of focusing on issues that matter to lawyers and paralegals, it’s focused on non-issues, side-issues, and untruths.

The Good Governance Coalition isn’t a party. We won’t vote as a bloc. What we will do is return decorum to Convocation, be fiscally responsible, and reflect the values of our professions—and our professions themselves.

And by voting for our 40 lawyer and five paralegal candidates, we’ll also stop the vote-splitting on which the slate depends.
