BECOME A CANDIDATE

The Coalition is still welcoming lawyers and paralegals as candidates. So if the Law Society would benefit from your experience and expertise, you have demonstrated leadership qualities, with a track record of giving back, join us.​

We are as diverse as you—what we practice, where we live, who we are. And we need a full complement of experienced leaders as candidates so the Law Society can fulfil its important duties with the professionalism and decorum you expect. You won't be joining a political party or voting bloc, and one candidate's opinions do not necessarily reflect other candidates' positions. But you will help the Coalition return good governance and competence to the Law Society.

To be considered as a candidate, please send us 250 words about why you would like to be a Bencher and join the Coalition. When you do, please also let us know what region you are in, and attach a biography or a link to one, along with two references. If you are interested in joining the Coalition, please let us know by November 4.
